RCMP are investigating a weekend house fire which took the lives of two people on the English River First Nation.
Police and fire personnel were called to a home on Mink Avenue late Sunday.
A 24-year-old woman and a 10-year-old boy were pulled from the burning house but both died from injuries sustained in the fire.
Mounties and members of the English River Fire Department worked at the scene of the fire overnight.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation and the victims’ names have not been released.
