A Saskatoon businessman is this year’s recipient of a national Aboriginal youth entrepreneur award.
Kendal Netmaker, who owns and operates Neechie Gear, has been chosen for the award by the Canadian Council for Aboriginal Business.
Netmaker grew up on the Sweetgrass First Nation and has been recognized numerous times for his accomplishments.
Neechie Gear regularly donates a portion of its profits to help fund underprivileged youth participate in sports activities.
The CCAB has also inducted Melvin E. Benson, of Beaver Lake Cree Nation in Alberta, into the Aboriginal Business Hall of Fame.
