Turnor Lake Bridge Almost Ready

Residents of the Turnor Lake region will soon be driving across a new bridge.

Officials with Saskatchewan Highways say the steel truss structure could be lowered into place as early as tonight.

Information officer Kirsten Leatherdale says a temporary floating bridge was erected on August 6th after the old structure collapsed.

She says the permanent solution is now almost ready.

The old bridge on Turner Lake collapsed in July shortly after the passing of a gravel truck.
