As part of next year’s Centennial celebrations, the province is creating a huge mural about life in northern Saskatchewan.

Culture, Youth and Recreation minister Joan Beatty unveiled the 2005 Centennial Mural project at the legislature yesterday.

Air Ronge’s Roger Jerome will design the giant mural, which will reflect the life experiences of First Nations people in the North.

When Queen Elizabeth’s royal tour travels through the rotunda of the legislative building next May, she’ll be able to view various portraits and scenes of people in northern Saskatchewan.
