The Parkland Health Region declared an outbreak at the Herb Basset Home in Prince Albert Monday morning.
The health region says 7 residents began showing symptoms of a respiratory and gastrointestinal illness Sunday at the Golden Hill unit.
Parkland asked all visitors planning to head to the Golden Hill unit to reschedule their visits until the outbreak is over.
They say tests are currently being done and any individuals showing symptoms have been isolated.
The other units in the home have not been affected by the outbreak.
