Three Saskatchewan based post-secondary schools are among the most recent institutions to sign onto the Indigenous Education Protocol.
The Saskatchewan Indian Institute of Technologies, North West College and Saskatchewan Polytechnic say they signed the document to affirm their commitment to indigenous education.
The College of Institutes Canada developed the protocol to provide several principles for schools to follow to improve Indigenous learning.
In a media release, all three schools say signing the protocol will allow them to better teach Indigenous students.
