The last of the forest fire evacuees who were forced to leave their homes in northern Saskatchewan this week and been told they can return home.

Lac La Ronge Indian Band Chief Tammy Cook-Searson says residents of Sikachu Lake and Clam Lake Bridge can go home, but not until this evening.

She says they will be allowed back at 7 pm.

The chief says Wildfire Managment still has fire crews on the ground and heavy equipment in area.

For that reason, residents of Sikachu Lake and Clam Lake Bridge areas are asked to drive with caution this evening.

All other evacuees have been allowed to return to their homes in the La Ronge area.
