This week, a man was found dead in a Kamsack-area field inside a car that had been previously reported stolen.
A farmer called the RCMP after the discovery on Monday. The RCMP determined the car had been there for 10 days.
It seems the driver had been trying to cross a field when he hit a dry ravine and crashed into the ravine wall, which led to the man’s death, according to an RCMP news release.
The 22-year-old has been identified as a man from Keeseekoose First Nation.
His family has been notified, but the RCMP is not releasing the name.
An autopsy has been performed, and the incident isn’t being considered suspicious.
