A trial has been set for seven males charged with the May, 2015 murder of a Pelican Narrows teen.
Hilliard Sewap Junior was 17 when he died of a severe concussion, according to an autopsy report.
The prosecutor in this case says there was a fight between two different groups in Pelican Narrows, that involved a chase and some people carrying wood two by fours.
Since then, Robbie Custer, Cody Custer, Marcus Sewap, Brandon McCallum, Trevor Charles and two youths have been charged with second-degree murder.
Trevor Charles and Cody Custer are the only ones not currently out on bail. Trevor has a bail hearing set for next week while Cody is in custody for an alleged breach of his conditions.
Their trial by judge and jury is set for May 8 of next year, and could last up to three weeks.
