Metis National Council Hires TV Newsman

A well-known TV news personality in Saskatoon is leaving the journalism to take a position with the Metis National Council.

 

Robert James has been a newsman for CTV’s Saskatoon affiliate, CFQC.

 

James’ last day of work was Friday.

 

He is now the Metis National Council’s Director of Media Relations.

 

During the last Metis Nation of Saskatchewan election, James was the press secretary for MNS president Dwayne Roth and others on Roth’s slate of candidates.
