The final numbers are in, and the results are remarkable for Indigenous enrollment growth at the University of Regina.
It is up 16 per cent this year to 1932 students, which represents more than 13 per cent of the total student population at the U of R.
The University of Saskatchewan is reporting an 8.4 per cent increase in the number of Indigenous students this year to more than 22 hundred students.
Meantime, the First Nations University of Canada had an enrollment increase of 7 per cent to just over 900 students.
