SaskTel has announced high speed internet service for three more northern communities.
Officials say residents of Deschambault Lake, Pelican Narrows, and Sandy Bay will now be able to enjoy service that is over three times faster than before.
In June, SaskTel completed a three-year $30-million project, in partnership with Cameco and SaskPower.
Work was done to rebuild the network in northeastern Saskatchewan to increase bandwidth.
SaskTel also completed a $3.5-million project to increase the capacity from Cumberland House to Sandy Bay by using Ethernet radio technology.
