Mounties are sharing details and chilling photos of three suspects in the La Ronge robbery and murder of Simon Grant.

Grant was fatally wounded after hours at his business, Louisiana’s Bar-B-Que, around 11 p.m. on Saturday night.

On Wednesday, the RCMP revealed there are three suspects in the case, all believed to be men, and they were carrying a bat and two handguns.

Investigators believe the suspects were only in the building for less than five minutes, in which they stole an undisclosed amount of cash and fatally assaulted Grant.

The first individual was wearing black cap, black scarf, black hooded jacket and black pants with the word “BLACK” written across the front in white letters. The pants also had white stripes on the back lower legs. This suspect was also wearing gloves and carrying a handgun.

The second suspected male was wearing a black balaclava, black hooded sweatshirt, dark-coloured pants/jeans and carrying a light-coloured baseball bat.

The third suspect was wearing a black long-sleeve sweater, dark pants/jeans, a black balaclava, and was carrying a handgun and black duffle bag.

Mounties are asking anyone who saw vehicles or people leaving Louisiana’s Bar-B-Que between 10:45 p.m. and 11:15 p.m. on April 15 to contact police.

“Even if you do not have full descriptions or make/models of vehicles, please report what information you have,” an RCMP news release states.

Anyone with details can contact La Ronge RCMP at 306-425-6730, 310-RCMP in Saskatchewan, 911 in an emergency or Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-222-8477.

There is a strong push in La Ronge to identify the criminals and lay charges in relation to Grant’s death. He was a well-known and beloved member of the community.
