A broken sewer pump has meant residents of Fond du Lac will be without water for an undetermined amount of time.
Residents were notified this afternoon that the main water system would be shut down until the problem is fixed.
A spokesperson at the band office said they weren’t sure how soon the main pump would be fixed and the water would be turned back on.
This affects 200 homes in the northern community.
Local officials are working on a contingency plan to provide residents with drinking water until the main water system is turned back on.
