An escapee from the Besnard Lake Correctional Camp is back behind bars after a couple of weeks on the run.
Twenty-eight-year-old Jade Ermine was located and arrested without incident by Prince Albert RCMP on the Sturgeon Lake First Nation on July 15.
He escaped from the correctional camp near Pinehouse on June 30.
The Besnard camp is an open custody facility — meaning inmates can leave during the day for jobs or education, but must return at night to finish out their sentence.
Ermine was back in court earlier this week to face additional charges.
