Four people have been charged after a drug bust conducted by Prince Albert and area police forces.

The four were arrested on August 2 after police conducted a joint investigation in which authorities seized total of 6.48 pounds of marihuana, 104 plants, 25.7 grams of Psilocybin and 14 firearms.

24-⁠year-⁠old Spencer Mayert, 23-⁠year-⁠old Jessica Atsma, 53-⁠year-⁠old Troy Ohochinsky and 28-⁠year-⁠old Elissa Schinnell are charged with unlawfully producing cannabis marihuana, unlawfull possession of  cannabis marihuana for the purpose of trafficking, unlawfull possession a firearm without a license, unlawfull storage of a firearm in a careless manner and unlawfull storage of ammunition in a careless manner.

All four will make their first court appearance on August 8 in Prince Albert.

The Saskatchewan Combined Forces Special Enforcement Unit is a province wide integrated policing task force with units in Prince Albert as well as in Saskatoon and Regina.
