RCMP say two people were killed in a three-vehicle collision near Debden over the weekend.
The crash happened at around 9 p.m. on Sunday on Highway 55, about 8 kilometres south of Debden.
Emergency responders found a man from Prince Albert and a woman from the Big River First Nation dead on the scene.
Mounties say they were occupants of the same southbound vehicle at the time of the collision.
Three occupants of the other two vehicles received minor injuries, including one occupant who needed to be hospitalized.
The investigation continues.
