A man has turned himself in after an arrest warrant was issued for firing gunshots on Witchekan Lake First Nation.
The RCMP previously reported that shots were fired on Aug. 18 around 1 a.m. on the reserve and while no one was hurt, charges were laid against Brendan Starblanket.
Five days later, the 18-year-old walked into the Spiritwood detachment and was arrested without incident. He has a court appearance in the Battlefords later this week.
Starblanket faces several charges, including pointing a firearm, discharging a firearm and a breach of an undertaking.
