A former Director with Saskatchewan Environment charged with two counts of sexual assault will appear in court at the end of the month.

Murdoch Carriere is due to appear in Prince Albert Court of Queen’s Bench on September 26th, for motions related to his case.

It was back in November 2003, that Carriere was charged for actions he allegedly took toward several women during his tenure with the Government.

In the end, the judge determined he should be tried for two counts of sexual assault and two counts of common assault.

He has already elected to be tried by judge and jury. His trial takes place at the end of the year.
