Meadow Lake Beating Victim Identified

A 20-year-old Meadow Lake man remains in critical condition in a Saskatoon hospital after being severely beaten this past weekend.

Kenneth Anthony Wolfe was found unconscious at an apartment block in Meadow Lake early Saturday evening, after RCMP and EMT personnel responded to a 9-1-1 call.

Meanwhile, the Mounties have released the identity of his alleged attacker.

28-year-old Wesley Lachance, also from Meadow Lake, has been charged with aggravated assault and assault causing bodily harm.

He’s also facing two breach charges.

Lachance appeared in Meadow Lake Provincial Court on Monday.

He will remain in custody until his next court appearance this coming Monday.
