Attempted Murder Suspect Identified

A Southend man facing two counts of attempted murder made his first court appearance today.

37-year-old Franklin Dennis Clarke was charged following an assault early Wednesday morning on a La Ronge reserve that sent two men from hospital.

A 35-year-old man from La Ronge and a 32-year-old man from Southend received undetermined injuries in the attack.

Clarke has been remanded in custody until his next court appearance.
