Lloydminster RCMP held a news conference yesterday, hoping to jog the memory of someone who may have seen a murdered Aboriginal woman in the hours prior to her death.
The press conference revealed new information and where the police stand in the investigation into the murder of 20-year-old Onion Lake resident Jarita Naistus.
RCMP Corporal Brian Jones says there are still a lot of missing pieces that have to be filled in, including what transpired in the 11 hours between Naistus’ departure from a local bar and her death.
Naistus was found murdered on the morning of October 2nd by hotel cleaning staff in Lloydminster.
