TV Viewers Given Chance To Relive Canoe Quest

A documentary chronicling the historic canoe trek across northern Saskatchewan this summer will be launched this evening on SCN.

SCN president and CEO Ken Alecxe says the documentary follows the 30 teams competing in the 16-day, 1,100-kilometre Saskatchewan Centennial Canoe Quest.

Alecxe says the Canoe Quest documentary not only shows the travels and hardships of the paddlers along the Churchill River system, it also highlights the kindness and generosity of the host communities along the way.

The commercial-free documentary on the Saskatchewan Centennial Canoe Quest makes its debut on SCN tonight at 9:00.
