It’s looking more likely that a 22-year-old man from Ontario died from a wolf attack near Points North Landing earlier this week.

The RCMP say an autopsy has revealed that the victim died as a result of an attack by predators.

The Mounties say the unidentified victim had gone out for a walk on Wollaston Lake near Points North late Tuesday afternoon, and when he failed to return, others went looking for him and came across his body a couple of hours later.

Saskatchewan Environment spokesman Art Jones says conservation officers are now travelling to Points North to conduct an investigation of their own to determine if it was, in fact, wolves that attacked the victim.
