Woman Charged Following Deschambault Lake Shooting

A 39 year old woman will appear in La Ronge Provincial Court today, in connection with a shooting incident, which occurred in Deschambault Lake Friday morning.

RCMP say they were dispatched to a Deschambault Lake residence just after 3:20 am Friday to investigate a domestic disturbance call.

When they arrived, officers found a 48-year-old man suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.

The woman is facing a charge of attempted murder.

Her name will be released following her court appearance today.

The male victim remains in a Saskatoon hospital.
