Northern Saskatchewan’s Conservative Member of Parliament has released his travel expenses for the past year — and he is pointing out they are much lower than his predecessor.
Jeremy Harrison says he spent just under 98-thousand dollars on travel claims — which placed him seventh amongst Saskatchewan’s 14 MPs.
He also notes that total is less than a third of the $310,000 former MP Rick Laliberte racked up one year.
Harrison also points out that his travel bill was about $37,000 less that the travel budget for northern Manitoba’s MP, Bev Desjarlais.
