PBCN Chief Pleased With Road Announcement

The Chief of the Peter Ballantyne Cree Nation says he is happy about yesterday’s Northern Economic Infrastructure announcement.

Chief Harold Linklater says it’s clear to him that the north is opening up with announcements like this, and it’s something that should ultimately increase job prospects and involvement for first nations.

He adds economic development is hard to achieve if you don’t have the necessary transport routes.
