Case Closed On Dog Attack

An investigation into a dog attack on a young toddler is over.

On January 27th, a 2 year-old girl was playing outside a home North of Prince Albert when a nearby dog attacked her.

The girl was taken to hospital with serious injuries to her face but is said to be recovering.

Yesterday, RCMP issued a news release saying the dog has been put down under the direction of the owner, and the matter is considered closed.

No charges are going to be laid against the owner of the dog.
