New Chief For Red Pheasant

There’s a new Chief on the Red Pheasant First Nation.
Sheldon Wuttenee defeated incumbent leader Charles Meechance during a vote Thursday.
According to a fax sent out by the band Wuttenee collected 404 votes to secure the win.
Joining him on council will be Larry Wuttenee, Douglas Wuttenee, Vince Nicotine, Robert and Lorraine Buglar, Lux Benson, Stewart Baptiste and Edgar Baptiste.
