Another man has been sentenced after pleading guilty to the manslaughter of a pelican Narrows teen.

Marcus Sewap received a sentence of 720 days, minus 375 days for time served, after he pleaded guilty to the manslaughter of a teenager from Pelican Narrows.

Four other men have also been convicted of manslaughter in connection with the killing of 17-year-old Hilliard Sewap Jr.

Trevor Charles, Cody Custer, Robbie Custer, and Brandon McCallum pleaded guilty to manslaughter in a Prince Albert courtroom last month and are facing sentences ranging from two to five-and-a-half years.

All five of the convicts were previously facing charges of second-degree murder.

A trial for two youths connected to the incident is scheduled for April.
