Saskatoon police continue to seize illicit drugs that can have potentially fatal consequences.
In March, a suspect in detention was found in possession of 2.7 grams of a lethal substance containing a new drug methoxyacetylfentanyl.
Another seizure found the extremely dangerous hallucinogen DMT.
Officials are also praising a new program that administers naloxone, which reverses the harmful effects of opioid overdoses.
The take-home naloxone kits are available free of charge from the Saskatchewan Health Authority.
THN kits are also available in 17 other Saskatchewan communities, including Buffalo Narrows, Meadow Lake, Prince Albert, North Battleford and Regina.
