Prince Albert Set To Host Circle Of Honour Awards

Saskatchewan First Nations people will be honouring their own at a gala in Prince Albert this evening.

The Art Hauser Centre will be the site of this year’s Circle of Honour Awards.

The annual event honours contributions by First Nations people in the areas of education, health, social development, economic and community development, justice, lands and resources, sports, youth, culture, recreation, women’s issues and veterans’ issues.

Top honours will be reserved for the Lifetime Achievement winner and the Citizen of the Year.

The event starts at 5:00 tonight, with the grand entry scheduled to begin at 6:00.
