An autopsy has confirmed a Prince Albert man who died last month was the result of a homicide.
Twenty-eight-year-old Tyrell Bird was shot in the face in the alley of the 200 block 9th Street East around 9 p.m. on June 28.
He was first transported to the local Victoria Hospital and later died in a Saskatoon hospital.
The death is Prince Albert’s first homicide of 2018.
Police have not made any arrests in the case and the investigation is ongoing.
