Saskatchewan Highways says a stretch of Highway 135 between Pelican Narrows and Sandy Bay has been reopened.
The stretch of highway had been closed since Sunday night leaving Sandy Bay without road access after a summer storm caused washouts and flooding.
Highways officials are warning motorists to proceed with caution around two areas near Slim’s Camp where the road is reduced to a single lane of traffic.
The highway continues to have rough areas as work continues.
Local residents are encouraged to check the Highways Hotline for updates at. hotline.gov.sk.ca.
