Patuanak RCMP have charged two people with bootlegging liquor offences.
Police say they seized a large quantity of alcohol destined for the community.
Investigators say they received information about a well-known bootlegging operation in the Patuanak area and located the suspects who were transporting liquor.
The estimated street value of the liquor is about $1,200.
Both suspects are scheduled to appear in English River provincial court on September 25.
English River First Nation is a dry community.
Anyone with information on the illegal sale of beverage alcohol is encouraged to contact the Patuanak RCMP at (306) 396-4600 or Saskatchewan Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
