Saskatchewan’s ombudsman has opted not to make recommendations in the case of Charlene Klyne.
Klyne was severely injured after being shot by a lone gunman at the La Loche Dene High School in 2016.
She had appealed to the ombudsman earlier this year to investigate whether the Workers’ Compensation Board and victim services branch of the Ministry of Justice had provided her with necessary supports.
In a released statement, Provincial Ombudsman Mary McFadyen, says both agencies provided the supports the legislation requires.
The ombudsman’s office says it will not be releasing the report into Klyne’s case because no recommendations have been made and it contains personal information.
Four other people were also killed in the shooting.
