The grounds of the west lawn of Wascana Park are now vacant, as the Justice for Our Stolen Children camp is no more.
The camp stood for approximately 200 days, protesting the injustices towards First Nations children in care.
Following the Court of Queen’s Bench decision last Friday ordering the camp to leave the grounds in a reasonable amount of time, the teepees are slowly being dismantled.
Supporters were seen Wednesday cleaning up the area.
All that remained Thursday morning was a frame of teepee poles and a post with a copy of the court decision attached.
