Saskatoon police say they have recovered most of the traditional Indigenous ceremonial clothing items stolen from a parked vehicle last month.

Jingle dresses and beaded moccasins were taken from the vehicle while parked in the 2200 block of 22nd Street West on Oct. 30.

Thanks to a tip from a local pawn shop, police managed to recover most of the items including four jingle dresses from a residence in the 100 block of Avenue N South Tuesday.

The only outstanding item is a beaded belt.

As a result of the investigation, a 35-year-old man has been charged with theft over $5,000.

Three men, ages 21, 30 and 50 and a 38-year-old woman have been charged with possession of stolen property under $5,000.
