A warrant has been issued for the arrest of a 19-year-old man after another man was stabbed in the head on the Ahtahkakoop First Nation.

Kimmy Randall Bear has been charged with attempted murder, and is considered dangerous.

The victim, a 35-year-old Ahtahkakoop man, was stabbed during a fight at a house party last night.

The knife was still embedded in his head when he was taken to the hospital in Shellbrook, and then transferred to the Royal University Hospital in Saskatoon.

It’s since been removed, and the unidentified victim remains in serious but stable condition.

The suspect was last seen driving a red two-door Chrysler Daytona Car. The public is asked to contact their local police detachment or Crimestoppers if they see him, but should not approach the suspect themselves.
