A 34-year-old man has been charged with two counts of first-degree murder following weekend shootings on the Mistawasis First Nation.
Conrad Sand was arrested after two men suffered fatal gunshot wounds early Sunday morning.
One was found outside a residence, while the other was in a vehicle a short distance away.
The RCMP say the victims were 22-year-old Greg Whitefish of Saskatoon and 34-year-old Dwayne Badger of Mistawasis.
Another male and a female were injured in connection to the shootings, but their wounds are said to be non-life-threatening.
Sand made his first court appearance this morning in Shellbrook. He has been remanded in custody until his next court appearance on September 19th.
