A provincial court has found a Canoe Lake First Nation man guilty of three counts of illegally marketing fish.
Donald Iron sold fish to an undercover conservation officer without a commercial licence on three separate occasions between April and September 2017.
About $90 worth of walleye and northern pike was sold in the transactions.
In calling for the charges to be dismissed, defence argued Iron was entrapped by the conservation officer.
However, in his ruling, Justice Miguel Martinez noted it was actually Iron who offered to illegally sell fish to the conservation officer.
The ruling was handed down earlier this month.
