An autopsy has been ordered following the discovery of a missing hunter’s body near Southend.
The RCMP say a local searcher came across 49-year-old Leo Jobb’s remains in a lake early Friday evening.
Jobb was last seen by his hunting partner four days earlier.
It’s believed Jobb tried to cross the lake in a canoe late Monday evening or early Tuesday morning.
The canoe and paddles were found on the shore on the opposite side of the lake.
