Missinipi And U-City Unofficial Election Results

There’s a new mayor in Missinipi and Uranium City today.

In Missinipi, unofficial results show that Zack Adams captured the post during this week’s election.

Joining him on council are Rick Driedeger, Leo Jacobsen, Paul Lyons and Angela Saalman. All the terms are for three years.

Meanwhile, the far north community of Uranium City has elected a new mayor and council.

Former Mayor Dean Classen was ousted in yesterday’s election by Harold Grasley.

Grasley will also be joined by returning council member Margaret Powder.

Former councilor Clarice Schultz was not re-elected for another term, however, Duane Larocque, Merrilee Shott, and Vina Powder make up the rest of the council members.
