RCMP Continue Search For Released Inmate

The Buffalo Narrows RCMP continue their search for an inmate who was accidentally released from the Prince Albert Correctional Center this summer.

RCMP Cpl. Tim Korman says Christopher Herman was released from custody prior to his scheduled release date because to a glitch in the facility’s logging system and has since been involved with other crimes, in which new arrest warrants have been issued.

Korman says the detachment has received a few tips from the public on his possible whereabouts, which include the communities of La Loche and Buffalo Narrows.

Korman says anyone with more information on Herman’s whereabouts can contact their detachment or Crimestoppers immediately.
