UPDATE – Saskatoon police say 27-year-old Jamie Terrence Halkett has been taken into custody.

Saskatoon police have issued an arrest warrant for a 27-year-old man wanted in connection with a recent homicide in the city.
Jamie Terrence Halkett is wanted in connection with the Apr. 20 death of 32-year-old Robin Godfrey.
Godfrey’s body was found in the courtyard of an apartment complex at 219 Avenue K South.
He died as the result of a gunshot wound.
Halkett is described as Indigenous, 5’ 9” in height, weighing 150 lbs, with brown hair, brown eyes.
He has a number of distinctive tattoos including ones with the word “Dreyson” over his left eyebrow and on the right side of his neck.
Police say the public should not approach Halkett as he may be armed and is dangerous.
He also has previous associations with Saskatoon street gangs.
