Dade Bernatchez from Sucker River had a strong showing at a golf tournament in Estevan over the weekend.
Bernatchez plays on the Maple Leaf Junior Golf Tour and finished tied for third place in a peewee event at Estevan’s TS&M Woodlawn Golf Club.
Bernatchez shot an 88 on the first day and followed that up with an 85 on day two — for a two-day total of 173.
Meantime, Dane Giesbrecht of Warman finished in first place with a two-round total of 167.
