New North has a new Chief Executive Officer.

Spokesman Bobby Woods says the northern municipal lobby group has just completed interviews for the position.

Boyd Clark will replace former CEO Al Loke, who resigned earlier this year to take a position with the provincial government.

Clark will assume his new position with New North on November 13th.

Meanwhile, Woods says a new executive will be chosen at the organization’s upcoming annual meeting in Prince Albert this month.

Since the executive is made up of northern mayors, former Ile-a-la-Crosse mayor Max Morin is one of the executive members that will have to be replaced.
