Meadow Lake RCMP are asking for the public’s assistance locating two male suspects in relation to a shooting incident Thursday morning.
Police were called to a local residence around 2:30 a.m. after receiving a report of two men entering a home and assaulting and shooting one of the occupants at close range.
The suspects fled the scene and the victim remains in hospital being treated for non-life threatening injuries.
Nineteen-year-old Ricky Lafond has a warrant for his arrest.
He is charged with aggravated assault, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose and robbery with a firearm.
