Six northern youth representatives have been appointed to the Provincial Youth Advisory Committee.
Minister responsible Glenn Hagel says the committee, comprised of 25 Saskatchewan youth, will act as a voice for the province’s youth and advise the government on a variety of important issues affecting younger generations.
Hagel says northern Saskatchewan residents should know they are well represented on the committee.
Seven new faces were recently added to the committee. Hagel notes that two of them hail from the North.
The northerners on the committee include Meadow Lake’s Mitchell Anderson and Melinda Dawn Morin, Karla Hardcastle of Air Ronge, Larissa Iron of Waterhen Lake, La Loche’s Jonovan Kokan and Sandy Bay’s Luke McCallum.
