Black Lake Welcomes New Arena

The Black Lake First Nation is unveiling a new community arena today.

Opening ceremonies get underway at 1:00 with a Grand Entry. Speeches will follow after that.

The band’s Recreation Coordinator, Albert Sayazie, says work on the building wrapped up just a few days ago but already games are being planned.

Sayazie says the Black Lake Rebels will be taking on the PAGC Chiefs to help commemorate the day. A dance is set for later tongiht.
